We decided people that could not lock our doors were not the people to fix a major problem IF that was even the case. We went to check on it and discovered they left the doors unlocked parked on NY streets! Someone had gotten into the car and gone through the glove compartment and taken anything they could of value. We walked around the corner to absorb the news and get our heads around it and saw the jeep parked on the street. They said we might need to consider a new engine block because it might be cheaper to fix than a blown head gasket. The jeep has been regularly serviced and runs well and only has 92,000 miles on it. We waited all day to hear from them and then went in person and were told it was 100% a cracked head gasket and maybe they could give us prices and numbers by the following day. They said they would have more information for us the next day (Tuesday). When we chased them down for answers on Monday they told us they had checked everything smaller so it had to be a cracked head gasket and they did not know what that would cost or how long it would take. They said, maybe they would get to it by 6:30 that day, but they did not and when we called they said to check back Saturday. They told us to write the problem down on paper and that we could not speak to anyone to tell them what was wrong with the car. We brought the car back first thing the next day. When we did that, they man in charge of coordinating the chaos of cars that they service told us to go away and make an appointment for the next day, they would not help. We called and were told to bring it in before 8:00 AM the next day. We had a problem with our jeep where it overheated on a long drive after idling.
